Worst Person In The World: Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin Donuts was the winner on Wednesday for giving in to the right wing blogosphere and especially Michelle Malkin.

DIshonourable mention to Bill O'Reilly who continues to attack NBC News when really he should be going direct - up against Keith Olbermann.  We all know that is his real target, but he keeps missing.

Worst Person In The World: Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT)

Tuesday's Worst Person In The World is Republican Independent Senator Joe Lieberman, who has been seen working with Republican presidential candidate John McBush McCain.

Dishonourable mention to ex-Factor fox and lunatic fringe right wing blogger Michelle Malkin for going overboard on a Dunkin' Donuts ad showing Rachael Ray wearing a scarf which the right wing accuse of being "Jihadi chic".  It's not, though.  It's just a scarf.  Lighten up, Michelle.

Bill O'Reilly's Talking Points Memo: Obama locks up the nomination.

I've said it once or twice, but Bill O'Reilly and I do not see eye to eye on a lot of things. But I do agree with Bill O on much of what he says in his latest Talking Points Memo, Wednesday night on the Factor. Obama, to all intents and purposes, does indeed have the nomination locked up, and deep down, Hillary Clinton knows it.

I also agree with Bill when he says that the Obama vs McCain race will be intense. And indeed, race will be a factor.

As for VP nominations, I think Barack Obama could do a lot worse than having New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, as his running mate. As for McCain, it is likely that either Senator Lindsay Graham or Senator Joseph Lieberman, the so called "Independent Democrat", will be his running mate.

Momentarily back to the 2006 Congressional Election

It was back in August 2006, on the eve of the Connecticut Primary to decide the Democratic Party candidate for Novermber 2006's upcoming Congressional Election, when Joe Lieberman's campaign announced that his site had suffered a "denial of service" attack and had been taken offline.

Lieberman blamed supporters of rival candidate Ned Lamont for organising the crash via denial of service attacks.

Well, Crooks & Liars reports today that the FBI office in New Haven, Connecticut has concluded that there was no denial of service attack, but that the server was "...overutilized and misconfigured..."

I doubt that Lieberman will remember any of this though. He's moved on to be "Chief Corrections Officer" on the John McCain Republican campaign!
