About Viewpoint

Viewpoint is a blog of commentaries on an eclectic mix of subjects, some serious, some funny, and some just plain weird.

From politics to media, sports to celebrities, the sublime and the ridiculous, all have their place here.

There are very few subjects that are out of bounds, but I won't just comment on anything and everything. It will have to be something that truly interests me or something that has not been adequately covered by other media.

I have a tendancy to highlight stories from local news sites, and stories from other parts of the world that haven't made the news outside their own country.  Sometimes I will comment on major stories, and sometimes I will report on the channels covering major news stories.

But always, expect me to be straight and direct.
